| What |
Now in our third year, this tremendously popular camp can best be described as a top notch lacrosse instructional program wrapped up in a traditional day camp experience. Boasting staff of current and former college lacrosse players, each day will consist of three sessions focused on developing players skills to ensure that everyone leaves camp with a better sense of the game. At PrimeTime Lacrosse we pride ourselves on ensuring that all players are receiving the proper fundamental instruction in a competitive and fun environment.
The camp curriculum is designed to welcome new players, improve current players’ skills, and challenge skilled players. The development camp will focus on all aspects of both individual and team based skills, beginning with individual techniques moving toward utilizing these skills in offensive and defensive team settings. Players will also get to enjoy all the campus has to offer with daily use of the swimming pool or the opportunity to try other sports during their free time. |

| What |
A program three years in the making, The PrimeTime Lacrosse Elite College Prep Program is designed for Rising High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors looking to continue the game beyond high school. This unique program is limited to 12 attackmen, 12 midfielders, 12 defensemen and 4 goalies per session committed to developing as leaders on the field and in the classroom. This invitation only program is not a recruiting camp, but rather provides players the tools they need to succeed at the next level.
This innovative program addresses four crucial aspects of player development designed to maximize players’ value as a college prospect; leadership/team building training, nutrition/fitness consultation based on a scientific approach to performance optimization, on field team and individual lacrosse development designed to address players own weaknesses and give them the tools to diagnose their own necessary areas of improvement, and most importantly the academic framework to assist players in meeting the necessary requirements to play at the next level.
Over the course of this program players will:
- Participate in leadership training that will provide them the tools both to work well in a team setting both on and off the lacrosse field.
- Learn from college lacrosse coaches and admissions counselors what it is they look for in a student athlete and how they may best present themselves and their achievements as a prospective student athlete. Players will leave with a framework of what they must do in each year to prepare themselves and remain eligible to play lacrosse in college.
- Spend time each day with the instructors at Athletic Republic (http://www.athleticrepublicnorwood.com/) who will not only put them through an intensive weeklong program designed at building a fitness base, but will provide each player a program that they will be able to continue throughout the summer and into the school year. The programs are based on AR's research of how the body responds to training stress—neurologically, metabolically and biomechanically—so that you can become a more efficient athlete with a reduced risk of injury--maximum progression per training time.
- Be exposed to innovative and demanding lacrosse sessions designed by college coaches that replicate the pace and intensity of their own practices; players will leave the PrimeTime Lacrosse Elite Camp with a better understanding of what it takes to compete at the next level, and how they can develop the necessary skills both on their own and within their own team practices to get there.
IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL , LETTER, OR PHONE INVITATION PLEASE CALL TYLER LOW AT 774.721.6091 TO DETERMINE IF THIS PROGRAM IS RIGHT FOR YOU. |
